LEVELS
Nurture Yoga Studio wants you to be knowledgeable of the skill levels in Yoga so you will be better suited to find which level will work best for you.

BEGINNER LEVEL
You want to try yoga for the first time or you are looking for a restorative and relaxing class. This level is also perfect for seniors or anyone with chronic pain.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
You are more comfortable with the yoga poses you have experienced and want to advance to a slightly more difficult class. New and more difficult postures will be learned at this level.

ADVANCED LEVEL
You really know your yoga now and feel ready to advance to the highest level offered. Postures may be held for longer periods of time or the pace may quicken for a tougher workout.

PERSONAL TRAINER
Meet with your very own Personal Trainer who will talk with you about a detailed workout program and healthy eating options that are easy to follow. You will leave with a new found enthusiasm to become a healthier and more fit YOU.

Yoga is an ancient practice that helps create a sense of union in mind, body, and spirit. It improves respiration, energy, and vitality, and promotes cardio and circulatory health. Yoga helps you to relax and handle stressful situations more easily while encouraging positive thoughts and self-acceptance. It builds awareness of your body, your feelings, the needs of others, and the world around you. Yoga brings us balance and creates a toned, flexible, and strong body.

Hatha Yoga is a branch of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asana) and breathing practices (prayanama). The art of blending the two together can bring about many mental and physical benefits. Hatha is the choice of yoga among Nurture Yoga Studio’s certified teachers.

PILATES
Pilates is a system of exercises that have a profound effect on the strength and stability of the body. It is a mind-body fitness activity that is based on the belief that our health and well-being originate from a state of physical and mental balance. It is characterized by mindful movements, conscious breathing, and attention to good form. Pilates increases core strength with control which targets the abdominal, back muscles, and hips. It improves overall flexibility as each exercise addresses tightness. It promotes better posture which can help alleviate back pain. When Pilates is done consistently, it will create a streamline appearance and can be an important part of your weight-loss plan.

MEDITATION
Meditation is a time of quiet reflection when the mind is still and silent. It is a great technique for relaxing and finding your center. Meditation helps to balance the mind, body, and spirit. All Levels

GENTLE YOGA
Slow stretching designed to relax the mind and body. This class prepares the body for a restful sleep by releasing the stress of the day. Beginner Level

INTRODUCTION TO YOGA
This hour and a half class defines the benefits of yoga and shares a brief history. Several common Yoga postures (asanas) will be portrayed with proper technique and breathing (pranayama). The class concludes with a gentle yoga session. This is perfect for those who have always wanted to try yoga as well as for anyone who would like a refresher course. Beginner Level

ZUMBA
Burn 600-1000 calories in just ONE HOUR. You will be constantly moving to upbeat music and having a blast while you whittle away inches. Your instructor guides you through short routines that are easy to follow.


YOGA FOR YOUNGSTERS

A fun way for children from ages 6 to 12 to learn a form of exercise that promotes physical and mental well-being. It is never too early to learn the practice of self-awareness and self-acceptance, and to promote a healthy body. Beginner Level
