This class will focus on each chakra, its importance and its relationship to our individual psycho-spiritual needs. Additonally we will learn and practice asanas specific to each chakra, as well as breath practices and sounding to center us into optimum balance.
Julie Zimmermann is a professionally level certified teacher of the Kripalu tradition. She teaches in New York, NY and hosts workshops around the U.S. The modum of her practice is to “breathe, feel, watch, relax...and allow.”

Belly Dance Therapy is one
path, designed for women who seek self-acceptance. This dance
does not emphasize to change, but to enhance a woman’s body
as well as her life style. Belly Dance Therapy is a natural form
of exercise and moving meditation for women, with the focus on
either maintaining a holistic life style or improving any given
aspect of a woman’s body or life in need of attention. It
is a feminine dance, a dance that highlights a woman’s passion
for herself. Cindee Zerr Franklin has studied belly dance for
11 years. She has earned a solid reputation of a well respected
performing artist and teacher. She has assisted and performed
at national workshops and has been teaching for 8 years. She is
the author of Belly Dance Therapy “A path to Self-Empowerment
and Healing for Women of All Ages” which will be available
for purchase.

By gently moving most muscles and joints you can increase flexibility, improve breathing, and enhance memory. The workshop provides you with a tool that can easily be used everyday to promote inner peace. Easy Tai Chi can be performed from either a standing or seated position.

This eight session course explores the personal
and environmental benefits of living simply and consuming less.
The discussion course meets every Monday at 6:45 p.m. for eight
weeks starting JUNE 18th. The only cost is for the study manual
that will be utilized throughout the workshop. Twenty dollars
